The document discusses three methods used to profile an audience for a horror film trailer: a SurveyMonkey survey, social media outreach, and video interviews. The survey results show that most respondents were between 25-30 years old, more were male than female, and their ideal trailer length was between 1-2 minutes. Respondents indicated ghosts terrified them most and they preferred paranormal over supernatural horror films and found the idea of unseen things fascinating. Social media was then used to broaden the audience and get more responses. Video interviews allowed for direct questions and honest opinions to be shared through other interaction.
2. Within this presentation I shall illustrate and evaluate the methods of
audience profiling as well as the results I have obtained and how this
will effect my trailer and processing.
3. Method One: Survey Monkey
I initiated the audience profiling by creating a survey using SurveyMonkey.com by doing this I could
reach a broader audience and have direct answers. Below, is my survey:

Following the retrieval of the above data, I decided to branch out and use social media as a way of
approaching and branching out to a broader audience: I did this, by using social networking sites such
as Facebook and Twitter aswell as using messenger apps such as Whatsapp to target my audience .
These are a few of the responses and opinions I received.
6. Method Three: Video Interview
I also introduced the use of Video Interview into my audience profiling, this means I could ask direct
questions and have the interviewee’s honest opinion with other interaction.
