Today, I want to share six of my best tips on how to
transform your MLM Business. These are helpful
lessons I have learned during the past 17-years in this
industry. They are listed in no particular order.

3. # 1 In our business, you can take the shotgun
approach or sniper approach
Both methods work, and both have pros and cons. The
shotgun approach is when you prospect everyone and
anyone. On the other hand, the sniper approach is
when you focus on a very distinct target market, or
group of people. I personally use the sniper approach. I
believe in picking a target market and focusing on
them.

4. # 2 Drive it deep
Always work at the deepest level in your organization,
with the newest, most excited distributor. Build your
business from the bottom up. Light a fire in the
basement and watch the heat rise. I learned this lesson
from Dale Calvert and Don Failla.

5. # 3 Inspire your leaders, rather than be their boss
If you are fortunate enough to have leaders on your
team, encourage them no matter what. Don't try to
force them to do it your way. Don't try to control them.
Be grateful you have leaders and be their biggest
cheerleader, whether they follow your system or not.

6. # 4 The fastest way to lock someone into the
business is to help them sponsor one or two of
their prospects quickly
You have about 48 to 72-hours max before someone
decides to mentally quit the business, or stay. Help
people get a quick, positive result, and the likelihood of
them sticking around longer increases significantly.

7. # 5 The first year in any new business is difficult
If anything, the goal your first year business is to learn
and survive. In the beginning of any new business
venture, you make VERY LITTLE money for the effort
you put in. That is normal. However, as you stick with it,
and time goes on, you can end up making MUCH MORE
than the time you put in. Each year you stay in a
business, it typically gets easier.

8. # 6 Every leader and successful person in our
industry does things differently
There is more than one right way to build a successful
network marketing business. Have a system for your
team to follow, but encourage and support everyone,
even if they want to do it their own way. You will
quickly discover that your best people do not use your
system anyway.
