Dr. Mary Lam conducted research on health sciences students' attitudes towards e-healthcare delivery and the type of training needed. Her 2012 study found that including e-health content in the curriculum improved students' positive attitudes towards the efficiency of using information and communication technologies in healthcare. Her 2013 work incorporated a transformative learning approach in an assignment that involved group consultation and critical reflection. This resulted in improvements in students' skills, knowledge, confidence, and sense of control.
