NEXUS Gas Transmission Pipeline (255 Miles)
Ranging from Kensington, Ohio to Ypsilanti, Michigan.
To be completed in 2017.
Expansion of stations in order to meet requirements of gas flow volume of 1.5 Billion cubic feet/day and pressure of 858 PSI.
WGS: Major Natural gas Hub for DTE Gas located in Southeast Michigan.
Interconnect to major interstate pipelines and local Markets.
New Equipment includes 3 heaters, pipes, valves, and fittings.
WRCS: Compresses gas to assist in transportation of gas to major interstate pipelines and transmission systems.
Adding 4 units: 3 reciprocating units and 1 turbine.
MCS: Compresses gas to assist in transportation of gas to major interstate pipelines and transmission systems.
Adding 3 new compressor units, with a 4th unit as a bid option.
(Adding 14 new buildings across all 3 sites, ranging from compression to administration buildings.)
CAPM requires a secondary degree and 23 course hours which were provided by DTE through Aspire.
Demo Consultation: Adamo Group and Homrich.
Meetings: Professional experience learned through observing how meetings were conducted from Brian and Brad. Walk-throughs of all 3 Stations to learn basics of gas compression and transmission.
Consulting Engineer forwarded weekly Item Tracking Reports to PM with updated predictions of receivables date.
Adding an original planned column and revision column shows schedule variance and allows management to review performance more easily.
In this example, the RFQ issued completion date was revised and pushed back 7 times for WRCS and MCS, showing inconsistency in performance from DTE Engineers.
