I have had an excellent educational life due to my successful grades throughout GCSE, AS and A Level leadingto my
acceptance into the University of Brighton and high marks in the first year modules of university. Throughout my
secondary school career, I volunteered to be a prefect as well as a mentor. This role gave me the responsibility of
looking after the younger years and ensuring their time at school was pleasant and beneficial. I received a
Mathematics award atsecondary school for excellenteffortand determination. I was also partof a successful netball
team for the duration of school. Throughout my time playingnetball, I gained theexperience of being partof a team
and enjoyed a winning mentality. I’m hoping to join the netball team as part of my university experience.
I have many different interests that cover a range of areas such as journalism, television, advertising,
(post)production, design and photography which have enhanced my university work in so far as my practical pieces.
As well as the practical side to my university course, there are assignments which require public speaking,
presentations and team work; this is something that I am now comfortable doing.
My creative flair has enabled me to create online portfolios on which I document my works in progress. I have a
strong interest in the media industry and hope to work within it in the future.
