The China and Americas Team are responsible for the Scottish Government's engagement with China, coordinating across all policy areas linked with remit countries and identifying new areas for possible collaboration. A major focus of this team is handling inward and outward ministerial visits, preparing functions and briefing and debriefing ministers to ensure maximum benefits are realised. The team liaises heavily with both internal and external stakeholders including Consulates in Edinburgh and Embassies in London, as well as colleagues in the British Embassy in Beijing.
