• History of repeated exposure to specific chemicals
• Wood’s Lamp: Accentuation of the pigment loss

7. INVESTIGATION
• Wood’s Lamp: Enhances lesion, so early
hypopigmented lesions picked up.
• Histopathology: Absence of melanocytes.
• Electron Microscopy: Absence of melanocytes
and melanosomes in keratinocyte.
• Lab Studies: TSH, Fasting blood glucose, CBC with
indices, ACTH stimulation test.
