“We’ve come too far to stop now”
.What’s it like to know you have this huge fan
base going around the world to watch you on
tour?
Luke - “It really is a wonderful thing to go
out on stage and see people, your fans scream
your name and they’re so happy to see us, it’s
just... It’s magical”
When did you all become friends?
Lucy - “ Well we’ve all known each other
way back in primary school but we started to
actually talk in year 4 probably”
Zoe - “Yeah it was because it was my 8th
birthday party and we all dressed up as
spiderman”
Luke – “And then Lucy got angry because she
wanted to be the only superhero so she threw
her cupcake at my head and it turned into a
food fight”
When did you decide that you wanted to
create a band?
Luke- “We’ve all been into music, especially
in high school we all did music together. It
started out as just practicing song together
for the lesson then Lucy’s dad suggested we
start a band so we did. We started playing
more things that Zoe wrote then we started
performing at school then we made a YouTube
channel and uploading videos of us playing and
people started to notice us’
Is there ever any conflict between band-
mates?
Lucy – “We rarely argue but when we do it
last about an hour before one of us apologies.
Its never ever a big fight just usually about
who ate the last cookie or the last pizza slice.
It’s never about music or the band”
Have any of you three ever had a crush on
someone in the band?
Zoe – “Not really I guess I’ve always been too
close to them to see them in that way”
Luke – “Erm well… Me and Lucy…”
Lucy – “Oh my god Luke no…”
Luke – “me and Lucy actually started dating
in year 8 but I think we both liked it better
when we were only friends I guess”
Is there any tension between you two now?
Luke – “Not really. Well I can’t feel any ten-
sion between us. If I’m honest I completely
forgot about the fact that we even liked each
other”
Lucy – “Oh thanks Luke”
Luke – “Aww I’m sorry”
Do you think you’ll ever stop making music?
Lucy – “Defiantly not. I can’t think of our lives
going back to the way they were. This is our
dream, we would never give it up. We’ve come
too far to stop now”
Why did you pick that type of music style
Zoe – “We are all big fans of Enter Shikari
and I guess we wanted to be kind of like
them”
