The carpool program has partnered with over 130 schools, including large universities. It provides a hosted online platform for matching carpoolers with email or single sign-on authentication. The program calculates significant savings in emissions, fuel costs, and money for over 1,000 users through posting over 1,400 rides since 2011. Costs are shared between the administration and student governments over a three year contract period.
