Overview
Pacific
Links
was
founded
in
2009
and
embarked
on
a
busy
development
period
identifying
for
ownership
golf
clubs
located
in
Hawaii,
Las
Vegas,
So.
California,
and
West
Virginia.
At
its
inaugural
press
conference
in
September
of
2012
held
in
conjunction
with
the
first
of
three
fully
sponsored
Pacific
Links
Hawaii
Championships,
a
PGA
Tour
Champions
Event,
Pacific
Links
International
announced
to
the
international
golf
community
in
its
business
initiatives
and
goals
in
the
private
golf
and
country
club
industry.
Simply
put,
Pacific
Links
provides
golfers
with
a
premium
golf
experience
through
an
innovative
international
membership
structure
focused
on
the
East
Asian
golfer.
Pacific
Links
offers
them
access
to
the
finest
collection
of
high
quality
golf
clubs
in
the
world.
Since
2012,
the
Pacific
Links
Network
of
Affiliated
and
Reciprocal
clubs
now
stands
at
over
150
properties
located
in
25+
countries
around
the
world,
and
its
membership
roster
in
Asia
is
now
in
excess
of
6,000.
The
Pacific
Links
International
business
model
is
centered
on
creating
a
worldwide
reciprocal
network
of
clubs
that
help
us
develop
and
grow
our
membership
base
in
East
Asia.
In
doing
so,
we
provide
an
opportunity
for
participating
clubs
to
realize
new
inbound
revenue
from
our
Network
membership
as
well
as
providing
a
very
robust
outbound
benefit
to
their
members.
Access
to
these
exceptional
properties
is
being
made
available
through
a
unique
reciprocal
membership
product
that
assists
each
individual
participating
club
differentiate
itself
in
its
local
market.
PLI
believes
that
clubs
in
the
21st
century
will
have
to
adapt
to
changing
lifestyle
habits
of
their
current
and
future
members
in
order
to
survive
over
the
long
run.
Clubs
will
need
new
membership
products
that
protect
the
exclusivity
and
traditions
of
their
club,
yet
bring
new
diversity
and
member
opportunity
that
recognizes
these
lifestyle
changes.
Pacific
Links
is
especially
focused
on
developing
a
membership
product
that
will
bring
exceptional
destination
golf
experiences
to
individuals
living
in
China.
PLI
has
created
and
launched
a
unique
membership
offering
which
will
provide
access
to
this
network
of
world-‐
class
clubs.
Pacific
Links
has
12
membership
sales
offices
open
and
operating
in
Beijing,
Shanghai,
and
throughout
China
promoting
our
network
of
clubs
around
the
world.
Pacific
Links
is
looking
to
partner
with
a
very
select
number
of
clubs
in
International
gateway
cities
in
Asia,
North
America,
Europe,
Australia,
and
New
Zealand
to
join
with
Pacific
Links
in
creating
a
worldwide
network
of
golf
experiences
that
will
add
value
to
all
the
clubs
participating.
PLI
has
created
a
unique
China
membership
offering
which
will
provide
access
for
its
Chinese
members
to
this
network
of
world-‐class
clubs.
We
have
enrolled
nearly
5,000
3. members
since
our
launch
in
2013.
The
aggregated
Affiliate
and
Reciprocal
members
in
the
network
now
total
nearly
50,000
and
we
have
participating
clubs
in
22
countries.
There
are
two
types
of
relationships
that
a
participating
club
can
choose.
There
are
no
up-‐front
fees
to
participate
and
since
this
a
home

Pacific

does
not
charge
commissions
typical
of
the
travel
agent
business.
There
are
two

Following
PLI’s
corporate
commitment

Providing

be
a
critical
component
and
a
hallmark
of
this
partnership
program
between
PLI
and

It
is
expected
that
PLI
will
offer

There
will
be
no
cost
to
the
host
club,
just
a
management
commitment
to
help
coordinate
this
level
of
service
as
needed.
4. Since
its
inception
in
2009,
PLI
has
been
successfully
building
a

that
are
complementary
to
the
tourism
visits
of
our
prospective
Asian

PLI
will
continue
to
expand
through

in
North

and
key
locations
in
Europe.
