I began my IT career while in graduate school, simply because I was a TA to a professor who did not understand computers. I didn’t understand them either, but I was too dumb to know. After receiving my MBA, my first job was to defend the free world. I did so as the VII Corps Data Processing Officer (Captain – US Army) stationed in Stuttgart Germany. I returned to civilian live and joined Touche Ross & Co, now Deloitte Touche, as a management consultant. I practiced IT and operations assignments in banking, retailing, industrial and government organizations.
