Step One
Visit:
• http://www.letskorail.com
• Then click “Rail Tickets”
• - OR -
• http://bit.ly/KorailTicketsEnglish If the site doesn’t display
English or your preferred
language, change that up here!

4. Ticket Reservations
Step Two
Make your reservation. You can select
specific tourist trains, like the DMZ train,
but in this case we’ll choose “Normal”.
Enter your:
• date of departure
• your departure and arrival stations
• what type of train you’d like to take
(Saemaul, for example)
• Then click the blue “Inquiry” button
If the site doesn’t display
English or your preferred
language, change that up here!

Step 2 Note
Not sure if your destination and
arrival locations have train
stations?
• Look them up by clicking the
magnifying glasses in the
Departure/Arrival area of the
registration page
• You can see at popular
stations or search
alphabetically

Step 3
After you click “Inquiry”, a
timetable will appear.
To check prices, click the
magnifying glass located
under “Fare”
Note that fares for faster
trains, like Saemaul, cost just
a bit more

Step 4
Once you choose your ticket,
complete the reservation.
Be sure to put your name exactly
as it is on your passport.
You’ll have the chance to add
other passengers names too, if
you buy multiple tickets.
The site will walk you through the
purchase process and it accepts
US credit cards.

8. Ticket Reservations
Step 5
If you can print your ticket, do so
immediately
You can also use your computer’s
“Print to PDF” option to create a PDF
of the ticket that you can save to you
computer and print later
If you don’t print your ticket, you can
take your reservation confirmation
email and passport to the train station
ticket booth for a physical ticket
