Our Creed
We commit ourselves to reaching our full potential,
knowing that our FAMILY can only progress with the
presence of LOVE and RESPECT for each other.
We know that every action must be with the TEAM in mind,
and our commitment to each other will be our strength in difficult times.
We play this game for FUN,
and there will be an absence of special privileges for any individual.
We are committed to GROWING mentally, physically and emotionally;
and we recognize that we are students first, and athletes second.
We seek to improve every day, and to develop consistency through the
relentless execution of FUNDAMENTALS.
We will always COMPETE with the best to become the best,
and we will always play with PASSION.
We realize that this can only be accomplished by an
extraordinary FOCUS, one step at a time.
We will personify CLASS and HUMILITY on and off of the field.
We will RESPECT the proud community that we represent,
and will earn the respect of our community
through showing EFFORT and CHARACTER in everything we do.
We know that it is our RESPONSIBILITY to serve as positive role models
to all of our classmates, teachers, and fans.
We know that any success must be EARNED.
We accept the responsibility placed in our hands
to build the PROUD TRADITION of Lincoln Football.

“Now this is the law of the jungle, as old and as true as the sky, and the wolf that shall keep it may prospoer,
but the wolf that shall break it must die. As the creeper that girdles the tree trunk, the law runneth forward and
back; for the strength of the pack is the wolf, and the strength of the wolf is the pack.”
Rudyard Kipling
