As Project Manager, I have been responsible for initial and ongoing team building, vendor, scope,
schedule and budget management, stakeholder engagement, communications and management along
with risk and issues management with appropriate escalations. Relationship building within IT,
Operations and multiple business units has been a pre-requisite for nearly all projects.
Projects have been managed in accordance with ING Project Management methodology with the
methodology being tailored to suit individual project requirements without compromising quality or
adding risk.

TCS Financial Solutions is in the business of developing, supplying and implementing their Retail and
Wholesale Banking application “TCS BαNCS”, to financial institutions around the world. They have over
50 clients worldwide in approximately 32 countries making them the sixth largest supplier of integrated
banking application software.

Key Purpose
Project Manager for the implementation of TCS BαNCS at one of the TCS Financial Solutions clients
here in Australia. The responsibilities involved Project planning, Test / Implementation Strategy
definition, Test planning, people management and co-ordination between Onsite / Offshore development
centres.
Head – Bid Office Commercial Banking TCS Financial Solutions February 2007 – March

Key Purpose
With the acquisition of FNS and TKS (a Swiss based company) by Tata Consultancy Services, I became
responsible, as Head - Bid Office Commercial Banking for the design, implementation and management
of the Bid process for all Commercial Banking products for all geographies. This included managing a
small team of people both here in Australia and in India.

3. Bid Manager - FNS November 2002 – February

Key Purpose
Responsible for the timely preparation of all responses to Requests for Tender/Information/Proposal.
This included the coordination of required activities with Alliance Partners to ensure all Requests met the
required standards and were delivered in the required timeframes. This resulted in having to travel to
many different countries to work with partner and 3rd
party companies in the completion of the required
responses. I worked with Pre-Sales in preparation and presentation of proposals to potential clients and
worked directly with and for potential clients in influencing their selection process and preparing required
RFI/RFP documentation.
Senior Business Consultant/Project Manager September 2001 – November 2002
Key Purpose
To undertake business consultancy or Project Management roles as required, both within FNS and
between FNS and any potential/existing users of the BαNCS Retail Banking Deposit, Loans, Payments
and Card Management products.
Accomplishments as Senior Business Consultant
• Undertook the current state assessment and gapping analysis for the Core Banking & Payments
components of the BαNCS suite at a client site in Kuwait.
• Prepared business functional specifications for various interfaces and processes including the ATM
interface, fees and charges and cheque clearing processing for a client in Cairo, Egypt.
• Worked on the data migration strategy and data mapping for the migration of Arab Bank data to FNS
applications.
• Conducted investigation into software development processes using the Capability Maturity
Modelling (CMM) methodology and recommended solutions. Undertook initial development of
required documentation templates and design for documentation version management.

ALLTEL INTERNATIONAL RESOURCE MANAGEMENT INC April 1998 – July

A U.S. (Little Rock, Arkansas) based company that had the outsourcing agreement for the conversion of
Colonial State Bank applications to the Alltel Systematics banking application and the ongoing
development, maintenance and operation of those applications.

Key Purpose
To ensure the effective, timely development and implementation, to the customers satisfaction, of all
required developments for the nine Colonial retail banking applications under my control.
Accomplishments
• Successfully managed the development/implementation of all required Alltel conversion activities for
the applications under my control for the Commonwealth Bank take over of the Colonial State Bank.
This involved liaison with EDS, Colonial and Commonwealth Bank business representatives and
third party software houses.
• Produced the Integration Data Management Strategy document, outlining how test data would be
managed during the integration process by both development and business personnel.
• Developed a good productive working relationship with EDS and CBA management personnel.
• Successfully managed the concurrent development and implementation of the Trust Bank of
Tasmania, GST and Internet Banking/BPAY initiatives as they impacted on applications.
• Acted as the primary contact for the various business areas responsible for the applications.
• Managed two developments for the Vision+ cards application and monitored production defects and,
in conjunction with the Vision+ client area, allocated priorities for resolution.

developments and production support for the applications under my control. To act as Supervisor to staff
providing technical direction, quality control, training and development including the setting of objectives
and conducting annual appraisals and recruitment.
Accomplishments
• Managed staff and the development and implementation of conversions activities including:-
the conversion of three Colonial Bank legacy applications to the Alltel Systematics equivalent
applications and making all modifications required.
Managed end to end testing (Management and execution)
Modification of three Colonial State Bank legacy applications to accept new interfaces from the
Alltel Systematics applications and developing required enhancements.
Developing a new General Ledger Interface System for the interfacing of the Systematics
applications to the MSA General Ledger system
Successfully managed the development and implementation of the Year 2000 initiative as it
impacted on applications I was responsible for.
Planned and co-ordinated required resourcing, from a limited pool (twelve resources looking
after nine applications), to ensure that no Service Level Agreements were missed for ongoing
production systems whilst still meeting all deadlines for development activities.
• Established excellent working relationships with different Colonial State Bank Client areas and acting
as their primary contact point for developments.
