3. How is Facebook different from MySpace? By CLASS: class in the US was more about social life and networks - how people define themselves and who they define themselves with. (societal values) The research suggests those using Facebook come from wealthier homes and are more likely to attend college. By contrast, MySpace users tend to get a job after finishing high school rather than continue their education. (geeks, freaks, or queers)

4. Have you used MySpace or Facebook, and if so, how often? What is your experience? Generally, we are not MySpace fans. Facebook is more commonly used. Even though the privacy settings are “user friendly,” some people still find it to be intrusive. MySpace was more popular in the United States (localized for US) while Facebook was more used globally.

5. Do you think Twitter will overtake Facebook as the most popular social networking platform in the UAE? Explain. Yes, because it is more updated and more constant especially now that there are mobile applications available. Content is also more timely. Twitter and Facebook have similar features but Twitter has the greater advantage because it is constantly updated in comparison. Facebook is more cluttered so the content might get lost. Twitter makes interaction more accessible and approachable. (We can follow whoever we want to).
