7. Activity 1 Effective and Ineffective Teacher
• Teacher’s work in groups according to grade level.
• Approximate time: group work 10 minutes, discuss with all teachers
10 minutes, define effective teacher 10 minutes.
• At your tables are colored sheets of paper. One person is scribe, go
around table and identify the most effective teacher you ever had(K-
college)- name isn’t important, why they were the best.

9. Activity 2 Scenarios
• Teachers will be placed in groups according to grade level.
• Approximate time: Working in group with scenarios 20 minutes, sharing
with all teachers 20 minutes, writing classroom expectations 30 minutes.
• Each group will given 2 scenarios that reflect behavior according to their
grade level.
• Each group will be given choices on how to handle the behavioral situation.
• After each group has discussed the situation and decided on the best choices
to handle the situation, each group will share their situation with all
teachers.
