The Aggieland Humane Society, formerly known as the Brazos Animal Shelter, presented to the College Station City Council on June 28, 2012. With new leadership and a new business model, their mission is to provide shelter, care, and placement for stray and unwanted animals while promoting responsible pet ownership. Their goals include saving all adoptable animals, returning lost pets to owners, treating treatable animals, and being a resource to the community.

More than just Animal Control, we are your animal welfare resource- providing
care and programs to improve the wellbeing of the pet population in
College Station.

10. Parks and Tourism Partnership
Weiner Fest provides a great partnership between the Humane
Society and College Station

11. Public Health and Safety
Assisting Animal Control in health and safety programs, rabies observations,
cruelty support, and working on increasing the number of pets with tags.

12. Adoptions
Safely placing pets into forever homes and keeping them off
the streets and healthy.
