INTRODUCTION
MarkhamCommunicationshasanopportunity topartnerwith Arcadia Training, a local company that
providessoftware training to small andlarge companiesin the Seattle area. This proposaldescribes the
issuesrelated to the partnershipin termsof three factors: PartnershipConditions, ProductsandServices,
andFinancial Considerations. IfMarkhamCommunicationsandArcadiaTraining agree to the proposed
partnership, theterms of the partnershipwill become active onJune 1, 2016 andextend to December 31,
2020, atwhich time a renewal of the agreement will be negotiated.

Arcadia Training is conveniently located in the heart of Seattle’s businessdistrict, where mostof its clients
are alsolocated. Few othertraining services in the area offer on-sitetraining in state-of-the-artcomputer
labs. Arcadia Training’sagreements with several very high-profilecomputer software vendorshas
ensureda continuingsupply ofthe most recent—andpowerful—softwareapplicationsin categories
ranging from Office suites toWeb site designpackages toNetworking packages. All levels are catered
to—fromthe executive assistanteager tolearn PowerPoint tothe Web site designer who needsto
developSQL skills.
BENEFITS
Arcadia Training needsthe seminars providedby MarkhamCommunicationsinorderto offer an overall
business-trainingpackagethatwill appeal to its corporatecustomers. Inparticular, Arcadia Training
requires businesswriting seminars, online publishing seminars, anddatabasedesign seminars. By
providingArcadia Training with theseseminars, MarkhamCommunicationsextendsitsmarket.
CustomerstoArcadia Training can purchaseMarkhamCommunicationsseminarsandthencontact

Arcadia Training hasprovidedinformationrelated totheir coursesales over the past three years. Based
on thisinformation, MarkhamCommunicationscouldexpecta minimum20% increase in revenueson the
sale of seminarsused by Arcadia Training tosupplementits software training courses. In addition,
MarkhamCommunicationscouldwork with Arcadia Training to generate revenue from the sale of
seminarsto Arcadia Training customersandthe inclusion of customizedseminarsin Arcadia Training
packages.
PROJECTED REVENUES
