- vehicles have the space they need
- parking is provided to serve businesses
- the rest goes to other users (“a complete street”)
2. It is easy to cross the street
3. Sidewalks are buffered from traffic
4. There is room on sidewalks for people and trees
5. Sidewalks are comfortable
6. There are things to see and do
It’s an inviting, social place to spend time.
