This document provides tips for marketing yourself both inside and out. It recommends starting by writing your name and a sentence about how you could better market yourself on a name tent. It also suggests using tools like LinkedIn and Twitter to make connections and produce content. Most importantly, it emphasizes that face-to-face interactions have the biggest impact and that one should continuously market themselves.

• Pick out a marker
• Fold the blank piece of paper in thirds
• Put your name on the front
• On the back, complete the sentence “If I were better at marketing
myself, I could ________________.”
• Share your sentence with one person at your table.
• Also, on the back, write down a number between 1 and 1,000.
• When you are finished, put your name tent where I can see it.
I’ve been working for around 30 years. “I don’t want to do all that other stuff, I just want to train”. Unless I Market myself well I will NEVER get to do what I want to do the way I want to do it.
