II. Agenda Topics
1. Does the client like the video?
2. What parts are particularly good?
3. Does the video fit the brief?
4. Is there anything to change?
III. Goals
We want to find out if the client is happy with the video we have produced, and to make sure that
the video fits the brief. It wouldn’t be too late for us to change things if needed so now would be
the perfect time to know this.
V. Next Meeting: TBD – Possibly the last one as video is now complete.
2. Comments:
1. The video was good. The right length and content was relevant.
2. I liked the interviews and the previous students work section.
3. Yes for the most part, although I would like to see some small changes before it was
complete, these will be listed below.
4. I would like the sound to be sorted around the second interview point, as the music cuts
in too early and drowns out the student. There is also a flash frame of an interview right
at the end, which needs to be removed.
3. The project was now finished; I had completed everything I originally intended and more. The work
completed was: the promotional DVD, the various aspects associated with creating a product, which I
feel did to OK standards, and now I had to have an end of project meeting with my client, this is listed
above. The client left me with some comments on my products which I could build upon and perhaps
improve certain aspects of my work.
I will go over the comments and explain what might’ve been the problem/solution to it:
Q: Does the client like the video?
A: The video was good. The right length and content was relevant.
I feel that the video was not particularly good, I wasn’t overly happy with how it turned out, but I do
agree that the content was relevant and it was the correct length which is good, so I feel I met the brief
in that regard.
Q: What parts are particularly good?
A: I liked the interviews and the previous students work section.
For this section I wanted to know what the client thought about the video, what sections they thought
were particularly good, although I knew myself which sections were good but I wanted to see what the
client liked particularly. As I thought the client did choose the same things that I liked about the video.
The previous section was part which I felt could’ve been improved by making it more obvious but I still
think it worked well.
Q: Does the video fit the brief?
A: Yes for the most part, although I would like to see some small changes before it was complete,
these will be listed below.
There are many problems I identified myself, namely the flash at the end of the video and the
soundtrack overlapping at various points. This is what the client identified too; I will quickly change
these parts of the promotional video before it is dispatched to prospective students.
Q: Is there anything to change?
A: I would like the sound to be sorted around the second interview point, as the music cuts in too
early and drowns out the student. There is also a flash frame of an interview right at the end, which
needs to be removed.
As covered in the previous point there are a few aspects which the client feels I should change, and they
will be addressed before the video is distributed, as it will put the college in bad light.
