How is an industry founded on paper trails
adapting in a digital era? Enter Bunq, an IT
company with a banking licence. Founder Ali
Niknam joined us to discuss how they are
innovating within the finance industry by
building products that people want to use,
rather than have to use.
James Veenhoof treated us to a tour of Denim
City, our venue for dinner. Founded as a
center for craftsmanship and innovation, it is a
school/lab/workshop/collaboration space that
is pushing the city's world renowned denim
community ’Towards A Brighter Blue’.
PostPanic decided to take on Hollywood by
making feature films for a fraction of the
budget. A $50k Kickstarter campaign for
Sundays led to them being at the centre of a
bidding war between Sony, Universal and
Warner. Their ongoing aim to disrupt the movie
industry is just getting started.
