• Though Microsoft provides a directory synchronization tool passwords are not synchronized to
the BPOS server
Active Directory • Users have to manually change passwords in multiple places
Synchronization • There are some third party tools that claim to do password synchronization with BPOS
• Most support calls are due to password reset issues
• There is no true Single Sign-on available in the current release.
• In the standard version, no custom code can be written for BPOS
