À propos
Crops for the Future (CFF) is a global partnership organisation with a mandate to promote and facilitate the greater use of neglected and underutilised crops (NUS). Our over dependency on only a few major crops (maize, rice and wheat mainly) made us vulnerable in the context of increasing population pressure and environmental degradation. NUS have the potential in sustaining livelihoods and human wellbeing and in enhancing the ecosystem (agrobiodiversity), health (reducing hidden hunger) and economic stability (capacity building of the poor community). Hence, CFF aims to initiate a paradigm shift by looking into the hidden potential of these promising neglected and underutilized crops.
