5. EAST TESTING & COMMISSIONING

• On May 25, 26, 27, 31 and June 1 and 2, 6 light
rail vehicles (LRVs) were delivered to the east end
of the alignment.
• Testing and commissioning activities will be
conducted between Brentcliffe Road and Kennedy
Road through 2023.
• Dynamic Testing began August 24, 2021, and will
last through 2023.
• The LRVs will run mainly on the surface along a
track in the center of Eglinton Avenue.
6. NOISE BARRIER AND SOIL NAIL WALL REMOVAL ON EGLINTON AVE EAST, EAST OF BRENTCLIFFE RD

nail wall located on the south side of
Eglinton Ave E, east of Brentcliffe Rd.
• The temporary walls were erected in
2014 to facilitate the construction of
the east portal.
• Eastbound traffic on Eglinton Ave E will
be reduced to one lane between
Brentcliffe Rd and Leslie St.
• The sidewalk on the south side of
Eglinton Ave E between Brentcliffe Rd
and Leslie St will be restricted.
Pedestrians will be directed to use the
north sidewalk.
• Noise from construction activities can
be expected.
• Work will take place between 6am and
7pm.

maintained.
• The TTC bus stop located at the northwest corner will be temporarily relocated approximately 15
metres north.
• This work is expected to take place between 7:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.

• The sidewalk on the south side of Eglinton Ave E will be closed between the DVP off ramp and Credit
Union Dr. Pedestrians will be redirected to use the north sidewalk.
• This works is expected to take place between 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

18. PLATFORM WORKS AT SLOANE STOP ON EGLINTON AVENUE EAST
