2. 2
Action items from January CLC
1. Take corrective actions to address the pooling of water and formation of ice sheets identified on
the temporary walkway located on the north side of Eglinton Avenue, east of Mount Pleasant
Road, near the 300 Eglinton Avenue East entrance.
Ice was addressed by the site team following the meeting. Crews continue to monitor the area and
clear/salt the sidewalks as needed. Catch basins are expected to be reinstated within the next five
months.
2. Investigate why a flag person had not been used and determine the activities that the tractor
vehicle was involved in, in the driveway of 300 Eglinton Avenue East, on January 8, 2020.
Issue was investigated and it was determined that the vehicle was delivering materials to 300
Eglinton Avenue East, unrelated to Crosstown construction.
3. Liaise with Sterling Karamar Property Management to clarify who was responsible for
maintaining and clearing the 300 Eglington East walkway section where the floating / jersey
barriers were located.
CTS will continue to clear snow on the sidewalk in front of 300 Eglinton Avenue East and along
the walkways within the work zone.

Action items from January CLC
4. CTS to again address with the site team that noise was being heard by the community during the
overnight hours.
5. CTS to discuss with the site superintendent, the construction team and the sub-contractors that noisy
activities were not to be done after 11:00 p.m.
Extended construction hours are underway at many sites along alignment, including Mount Pleasant.
Deep excavation at Mount Pleasant takes place on a 24/6 basis. This includes, excavation, loading,
hauling, site maintenance and occasional utility works. However, the overnight period is generally
reserved for site maintenance/preparation and excavation. Mitigation measures are in place at the site-
level to minimize disruption. Residents experiencing sustained overnight disruption can contact the
Crosstown Community Office to discuss resident-based mitigation options.
6. CTS to review the wording of the notices to ensure they were accurate in regard to advising of the
remaining roof slab pours.
Wording adjusted for the remaining notices. Roof construction complete
7. CTS to instruct the work crews to stay within the work zone for the next concrete pours
Project team informed.
