Our Mission
FAVOR MS is dedicated to
organizing and mobilizing
thousands of Mississippians in
recovery from addiction to
alcohol and other drugs, our
families, friends and allies into
recovery community
organization and networks, to
promote the right and resources
to recovery through advocacy,

What is an RCO?
An RCO is a Recovery Community
Organization that is run by and for
those in recovery from addiction.
RCOs offer peer supportive services
that ease the transition from active
addiction to life-long recovery and
advocate for public education and
the end of the stigma associated with
the disease of addiction.
What support does FAVOR MS offer
to newly developed RCOs?
As a part of the Mississippi RCO
Collaborative, we offer guidance on
best practices, funding
opportunities, and organizational
structure that will support the
success of newly identified
organizations. In addition, FAVOR
MS continues to promote peer
services in the recovery community
as a valuable resource to treatment
providers.
