  1. This is the Cypress, Texas that most of you know . . . A growing area with SuperHighways, modern Shopping Centers, and Subdivisions filled with beautiful new houses. Have you ever thought about what it was like . . . before all the modern buildings and roads were there? Why did people come to live in the Cypress area before there were all these great stores and restaurants? Today, we are going to take a few minutes to go back and look at why people came to Cypress, Texas, and how it got to be the place we live in today.
