To Whom it May Concern,
This letter of reference and recommendation is to acknowledge the creative and technical
prowess of Cy Gorman. It is rare to find a creative talent such as Cy. Furthermore, it is his ability to
integrate his many talents and creative-tech languages within diverse and complex environments
that is even more rare.
Cy was an integral part of working alongside me as a budding CEO of my tech-startup company
Lobal Technolgies. From August 2014 to Feb 2015 Cy functioned as the Creative Director of
Lobal’s tech-startup product IMERSO-VRE. IMERSO-VRE beta product development was the
shaping of an application and platform for creating, sharing and monetising virtual reality
experiences without the need for coding, design or developing skills. It was a hugely ambitious
project and Cy was invaluable to aiding me in grounding many aspects of the creative, legal,
concept, IP and media material necessary to launch the product and Lobal as tech-startup
business itself. Cy was particularly interested in the development of two key functions of IMERSO-
VRE. EXABYT and ZETAGRAF.
EXABYT was application designed to showcase regular audio and visual web content within a
virtual reality environment. As well as being a core contributor to the concept, designs, and copy
relating to EXABYT he co-ordinated and directed a virtual reality exhibition of the app design within
a physical exhibition gallery. The VR gallery was modelled on the exact dimensions of the physical
gallery providing the user with the superimposition of a VR exhibition experience within a physical
exhibition space. A simple but radical achievement technically, creatively and socially.
ZETAGRAF, put simply, was designed to turn data into an immersive responsive artistic
environment. Its future application’s were geared towards creative and immersive representations
of simple, to big data content, innovative business intelligence modelling (BIMs) and immersive
info multitasking.
In addition to the broad skill sets that relate to the above, Cy was also responsible for the creation
and development of audiovisual media for Lobal’s crowd funding campaign.
In many ways I wasn’t prepared to upscale the energy, momentum and potentials Cy brought to
the table and board of directors of Lobal. It is his passion for heightened communication and fluid
and flexible expressions of the integrated harmony of humans and technology that has in part
inspired me to postpone by business operations and complete a Masters of Entrepenuering at
Monash University in Melbourne. I hope to work with Cy again in future and can highly recommend
him for any artistic, technical or business positions he seeks.
Sincerely
Joel de Ross
CEO, Lobal Technologies
