1. To Whom It May Concern,
My years of assisting and dental hygiene practice have provided a wealth of experience, which I
am eager to expand upon. I have had the opportunity to be a member of several teams in
different styles of practice. Over the course of my career, I have managed full-time temporary
hygiene services to a variety of practices, coordinatedrelocating and upgrading a practice,
worked in on-site services with elementary aged school children and completed an internship in
a geriatric long term care facility. My assisting experience has included managment type
assisting providing services in a clinic style environment. I have also enjoyed the complex nature
of patients served while working with a periodontal and implant practice as a hygienist. In
addition, I have co-authored multiple dental auxiliary education courses. I am seeking to add to
this experience with continued education, mastery of new skills and the incorporation of new
technologies.
My combination of assisting and hygiene experience has given me a broad understanding of
the practice of dentistry. Strong communication skills allow me to advance patients' well-being
by effectively discussing their dental and oral health needs. Multi-tasking and organizational
skills make me a valued asset in many areas of practice. I am interested in full or part-time
positions, practicing hygiene exclusively, or combining my experiences in an enhanced role. I
would also be interested in Treatment Coordinator or clincial management positions.
To arrange an interview, I can be reached at 856-308-2591 or cynascott@yahoo.com. If your
practice does not have any staffing needs at this time, I would appreciateyour keeping my
resume on file.
Thank you for your consideration,
Sincerely,
Cynthia Scott CDA, RDH
