This project investigates the opportunity's to integrate recycling
design and manufacturing into the social studio of WEB through
the materials of the thrift store and creative crafts.
4. Goals are to keep craftsmanship locally and to revalue and
actualize crafts by giving it a lasting place in the social economy. It
places a strong emphasis on developing the required
competences of the target group of employees and the creation of
jobs with learning opportunities and potential flow. The study is a
selection of crafts made through testing the materials in pilot
projects for the sustainability, continuity and creative opportunities
for small scale production in the studio of SW vzw WEB.
5. Artists and designers within the project will be looking for an
innovative reuse of the collected materials and objects from Flemish
households, to create a unique position to take in the Flemish
creative industries.
The tension between creations and co-creation will be explored.
