2. Global Citizen 2015 – An ‘Event of the Year’
Thank you for giving Promotional Communications, LLC, the opportunity to contribute in making
your event a success.
Your directive, and our objective, was to provide seamless, public Wi-Fi connectivity for
thousands of festival attendees during the Global Citizen 2015 Festival featuring:
Beyonce
Pearl Jam
Ed Sheeran
Cold Play
Michelle Obama, US VP Biden,
and many other luminaries
We successfully achieved our objective with setup, installation and configuration of “best in
breed” hardware and software designed to handle high density Wi-Fi environment
requirements. Our team of on-site technical professionals did a remarkable job of keeping
“the lights on” during of extreme RF (Radio Frequency) interference, incredibly heavy load, and
THE FAILURE OF THE CELLULAR NETWORKS
As a note, the entire MassCloud network, Wifi + Fiber + Internet survived the crash of the Cellular
Networks and supported thousands of users during the process where from 6PM to 10PM, it was
virtually impossible to make or receive phone calls or SMS in a timely fashion.
