Very few companies in the world are as recognized as Disney.
Throughout the decades, people have come to know and love the
Disney brand. It has become synonymous with fun and wonder not
just for children but for people of all ages.

It can be argued however that the decade in which Disney truly shot
to success was the ‘90s since this was when it released its animated
hits on an annual basis and broke the box-office every year.
Even though “The Little Mermaid” was released at the tail-end of the
‘80s, we’ll still give it an honorable mention as the first major Disney
feature-length and first major Disney princess since “Sleeping
Beauty” and “Cinderella.”
“Beauty and the Beast” was the first and perhaps greatest critical hit
of Disney in the ‘90s. Not only did the film win an Oscar for Best
Song, but it was also nominated for Best Picture – the first animated
feature to do so.
“Alladin” followed up on the success of “Beauty and the Beast” and
grabbed another Oscar for Best Song, which would become a

Disney staple in the years to come.

“The Lion King” was Disney’s biggest box-office triumph and would
hold the record until the Disney/Pixar collaborations would come
rolling in.
More films like “Pocahontas,” “Mulan,” “Hercules,” and “Tarzan”
would all become fan favorites, which people would watch and re-
watch until today.
