Delta Engineering - Phillips 66
Piping Supervisor overseeing all of Delta Engineering's project works on the refinery.
Most recently the new de-salting plant, my duties included identifying all tie-ins to
existing pipe work, vessels and isolations, working with operations staff and permitory
systems, co-ordinating work activities liaising with Phillips 66 personnel and other
companies involved in the project, punch listing, testing and commissioning of new
equipment

Unit Birwelco B.O.C Acetylene gas plant
Piping supervisor responsible for all site installation of new pipe work and equipment.
Raising technical queries, Co-ordinating works on new build liaising with B.O.C staff
attending progress meetings, punch listing, testing and commissioning of completed

PETROFAC, SHETLAND ISLANDS
Whilst at Petrofac I have been a Piping Forman, working on underground piping
services for example HDPE pipework, Rehau, heating and ventilation, also GRE fire
main and drainage systems for a new gas plant build. I am responsible for issuing
and delegating task for Petrofac tradesmen and sub-contractors, following the
inspection test plan and liaising with the client TOTAL. I also accept permits to carry
out various tasks within my scope of work.
3. Feb 2010- March 2013
FABRICOM SUEZ GDF, IMMINGHAM
During the last 24 months I have worked as a piping supervisor in workshops and
module assembly yard, working with managers and BP clients on the advanced
gasoline splitter project for kinniel. I have worked as a charge hand on Millennium
Chemicals on the Humber bank where duties included requesting permits and issuing
work to various trades on the chlorinator refurbishment. Working at BOC Scunthorpe
repairing aluminium cold box and ferrous pipework. Fabrication of pipe work for
LOTTE project in workshops, workshop fabrication for Isle of Grain and Conoco
Phillips refinery. Pre-shutdown and shut down work for Conoco.

Lindsey Oil refinery, renewal of bitumen plant and HDS3 project installing new and
modifying existing pipe work.

I worked in work shop fabricating and testing pipe work for Conoco Phillips and Lindsey
Oil. Following pipe work on site during shut downs on both refineries and installing
them.

Working on Immingham I.C.H.P phase two daily duties are installation of new pipe
work of various sizes and materials following isometrics.

One two week trip to Chevron Captain WPP and BLP. Work involved was to remove
corroded pipe work and installation of new pipe work, torqueing flanges and pressure
testing systems and maintenance on well head kill lines.

Work includes fabrication of pipe work, vessels, skid units, and modules. I was
working in workshop, their outside compound and various plants in and around the
Humber bank estuary undertaking maintenance and project work i.e. Conoco Phillips
Refinery, Lindsey Oil Refinery, Millennium Chemicals and Immingham Combined Heat
and Power Plant.

Work included the fabrication of pipe work, testing and installing systems using
General Arrangement and Isometric drawings and site running of pipe work.
Maintenance and project work on Novartis Pharmaceutical Plant and also Immingham
Bio-diesel Plant.

Duties were mainly workshop orientated, fabricating pipe work vessels, more recently
the construction of the ‘Golden Eye’ modules and pipe work in the companies outside
compound.

Duties were site based at Ross Young’s and Marr Foods in Hull, renewing perished
pipe work, replacement and installation of new pipe work systems. Majority of work
was mainly small schedule stainless steel pipe of which was welded by myself.

UNIFI ENGINEERING, GRIMSBY
Working mainly in food factories I was responsible for daily maintenance and
installation of new machinery and associated pipe work. I also fabricated conveyor
belt systems, freezers and dryer systems.

MITSUI BABCOCK’S ENGINEERING, ESSEX
Located at BP Corrington Oil Refinery I undertook daily maintenance of the plant and
its systems.

MOTHERWELL BRIDGE SERVICES, KILLINGHOLME
Located at BP Corrington Oil Refinery. I worked on a 12 hour, 6 week shut down of
the FCC unit.

Located in Grimsby workshop and in Royston. Working mainly with stainless steel,
duties included fabrication of pipe work following isometric drawings, fabricating
branches, trunnions, pressure testing pipe work and template development.

Located at Ultimate Packaging on the Euro Park, Grimsby I installed all the pipe work,
boiler systems and cooling systems for the new factory and its machinery.
