Being data driven is the goal for many companies in the digital age. The challenges and the opportunities of a fast changing environment are often not recognized in the organisations. This talk is about setting up data driven management as a core competency in financial technology companies, the main challenges and some ways to overcome those. I will also introduce some new concepts to look out for that the industry is moving towards.

Challenges
> Find out and document

> Get management buy-in for BI
> Prioritize and focus, leverage

> Document KPIs and educate stakeholders
> Keep momentum, change when needed
> Nothing is impossible
> BI is a central department even when located de-centrally
> Create value!
> Find ways to overcome this, but we need to comply
> Adjust and be flexible
> Leverage on other teams
