PhD in NUI Galway in Electrical and Electronic Engineering in NUI Galway http://www.eee.nuigalway.ie/ in conjunction with DERI http://www.deri.ie/ (rough outline/concept below) Citizen Sensors In this work, we propose to investigate how data obtained from ubiquitous “citizen sensors” and other streams (Social Web aggregations via semantic technologies, sensor readings, etc.) can power interactions with this data in ways not currently possible, leading to innovative uses of the data acquired from amateur observers.
