“Well begun is half done” Mobilization Management is an art, when executed systematically in the initial period of a FM contract, it not only solves many of the initial hiccups and also creates a very good reputation to any Facilities Manager and FM company. A successful mobilization of any FM contract is dream of every Facilities Managers for the reason that it improves the confidence and trust level of any client with a FM company. This will lead to future partnerships and opportunities. For the mobilization management of FM contracts , 5M concept of business management can be borrowed. Ie., Man, Material, Machines, Methods and Money. Like any management process, 5Ms of FM contracts also requires its Sources, Documentations, Processes, Owners and other Stake holders, Timelines and Plan Bs (alternative options). In this presentation, 5Ms for FM contract mobilization is detailed. (This is presented by the author for MEFMA Train the trainer program as a Trainee Participant)

𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐰 𝐀𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐲𝐬𝐢𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞 #𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐝𝐮𝐥𝐞 A project management best practice called the #DCMA 14-point schedule assessment is based on fourteen metrics / Quality Checks that allow for both a qualitative and quantitative evaluation of the schedule. The 14 metrics are more like measurable criteria that should be examined frequently while planning, monitoring, and regulating the project schedule than being specified as essential rules or standards.
