Fast
We have been asked, why Atlanta? There are several reasons
but here are some of the main reasons. First of all, Atlanta
is huge. That, to us, means huge opportunity. We are “Big”
dreamers and this is “Big.” There isn’t another Scooter’s
Coffee shop on the eastern half of the U.S.! Scooter’s is
largely a drive thru business. What is one thing Atlanta is
known for? Traffic, people in Atlanta spend a lot of time in
their car. Sounds like a perfect combination to us. We plan
on building a lot of Scooter’s Coffee shops and conveniently
locating them along your daily commute route for you to enjoy
one of our Amazing drinks, a pastry, sandwich or possibly
a breakfast burrito. Scooter’s Coffee is very popular and
successful in other parts of this country. It’s about to be the
same here in Atlanta too!

JONERWIN
DEANNA ERWIN
Deanna grew up in Laurel, Nebraska, coming from a family of
successful business owners. She attended college at St. Luke’s
Medical Center, Northeast Technical Community College, and
continued her education at Wayne State College to obtain a Nursing
Degree. Shortly after graduating, Deanna worked at Providence
Medical Center as an Operating Room Nurse and Emergency
Room Nurse for five years. In 1986, she became a Medical/
Pharmaceutical Representative for a Lincoln, NE-based company. In
1988, she continued her career in the Omaha Metro Area and gave
oversight into three divisions of the company. Between 1996 and
2009, Deanna served as partner at Complete Concrete as the Chief
Financial Officer, as well as between 2001 and 2013, she served as
the Director of Women’s Ministry/Volunteer Assimilation/Leadership
Development for Lifegate Church. From April 2012 to present,
Deanna has served as the Chief of Operations and Leadership
Development for SoDaug, LLC.
Jon Erwin grew up in rural Nebraska where he learned
to farm with his family. He continued his education at
Northeast Technical Community College and furthered
his education by studying Agriculture and Business
at Wayne State College. After college, he moved to
Omaha, Nebraska, in July 1988 where he became Vice
President for a local insurance company. Jon continued
his business dreams and created Complete Concrete,
Inc. in September 1993, where he built the company
from ground up starting with one truck and expanding
over the next 18 years to 3 plants with over 50 trucks
to service the Metro area, concentrating in residential
and small commercial. In November 2011, SoDaug, LLC
was formed and Jon continued his business pursuits
in April 2012 when he and his wife, Deanna, purchased
five existing Scooter’s Coffee stores in Kansas City.
Eventually, an agreement was met in September 2014
to sell seven of the Kansas City locations, which led Jon
and Deanne to move to the NW area of Atlanta to build a
brand for a new market for Scooter’s Coffee.
