I have often worked 12 hr shifts to keep up with the demand in various
positions, I am always keen to do overtime and I always offer my time when
this is needed at shortnotice.
Verbal and writing skills
I always demonstratean advanced ability to express ideas using various
channels. Interpretand clarify details, covey and explain information. I provide
opinions and arguments in a fluent, coherent and confident manner, I am able
to develop rapportand build relationships with staff, guests, and customers
and to be able to adapt communication styles for different audiences. I
effectively explore alternative to reach outcomes that gain staff supportand
acceptance. At MBF health I developed interpersonalskills with the ability to
liaise with internal and external customers to achieve outcomes. Often have
written letters to customers and providers by mail merge.
Quality, Time management
Set and deliver high standards of performancekeying 200 claims a day when
the ask was 105, I amable to deliver correctwork the firsttime and identify
and communicate improvement opportunities to my team leader.
I have also been involved with mentoring staff and deliver results by deadlines.
I have proven ability to prioritise schedule and performto meet identified
timeframes, commitment and customer servicestandards examples of this are
team meetings, company presentations, volunteering for raising money for
different causes we supported at MBF, Also attended the city to surf and
trained in our lunch breaks for this and I also was chosen as a social club Rep.
Ability to work under pressure
In all my previous positions I am used to working under pressureand I like it as
I find it very challenging. I justrelax and you find if you do not stress you can
overcomeany issues that may arise.

I always participate in team meeting to ensure2way communication on team
performance. Identify with and participate in the attainment of team
objectives. I am able to develop positiveand collaborative relationships with
team members and internal customers. I haveproven team building
experience and i am a member of our team group called fish and i always have
to think of new ideas to keep the team happy at work.
Computer literate
Apart fromhaving my own pc at home. I also advertisemyself in the paper to
constructresumes. I havecompleted a excel coursewith A.I.M. I amvery
familiar with in house systems and learn very quickly when shown whatto do.
Accuracy
I have a proven record of 99% accuracy, I havevery good eye for detail and
often pick up errors on claim forms and our intranet in relation to benefits
given which is very important to have the correct information.
At AHSA I havehad a great deal of experience as a receptionist and contract
supportwhereI had to look over the rate rises that where done on upcoming
contracts to ensure they are correctbefore dispatching them to the 25
hospitals.
Hospitality
I have been lucky to havestarted as a waitress when in finished school iin
various restaurants and cafe's, I also worked on the Sydney ferries for
functions ect. I have worked at darling harbour holding ceramic trays for guests
for functions for long periods of time.
