While I was directly responsible for completing the agency applications for funding, I
worked with a group of administrators and program staff who were essential in
completing quality applications.
The Director of Research & Development is responsible for actively seeking new funds for the agency while ensuring the existing programs are maintained. The Director promotes the agency to the community by attending and speaking to different organizations and social groups within the
counties. The Director conducts activities to ensure compliance with Federal Head Start rules and regulations; licensing laws and all funding source regulations. The Director develops and plans requests for proposals, program budgets, grant applications, sub-grant agreements, grant and
sub-grant modifications, contracts and other instruments for all departments of the agency.
