DeeWunn, also known as Damone Walker, is a Jamaican-born rapper and singer who is popular for creating a hybrid genre he calls "Yardcore" that blends hardcore hip-hop, Jamaican patois, and dancehall. He was influenced by hip-hop artists from the 90s like Bone Thugs-n-Harmony and Tupac Shakur. DeeWunn released several mixtapes from 2007 to 2010 and was later recruited to Bada Bada Gang where he released successful singles. In 2013, his song "Mek It Bunx Up" went viral with dance crews worldwide performing to it. He has since toured Canada, written songs for other artists
