Definition of pollution

• Pollution is something that many people cause
each day. Simply turning on the engine of
your car causes pollution. Businesses can
cause pollution too! They can make mistakes
and things accidents like oil spills result in
those mistakes Carelessness is why people
litter, it can also cause other types of
  pollution.
Types Of POLUTION
• THERE ARE four MAJOR TYPES OF POLLUTION
AIR POLLUTION
WATER POLLUTION
NOISE POLLUTION
LAND POLUTION
RADIO ACTIVE POLUTION
What is air POLLUTION
o Air pollution occurs when the air contains
gases, dust, fumes or odour in harmful amounts.
That is, amounts which could be harmful to the health or
comfort of humans and animals or which could cause damage
to plants and materials.
Causes of AIR POLLUTION
• Major sources of Air Pollution
-Industries
-Automobiles
-High Proportion of undesirable
   gases, such as sulphur dioxide
   and carbon monoxide
Air Pollution images
Effects of Air Pollution
• Air Pollution EFFECTS????????

 Human Health
 Plants
 Animals
And Atmosphere as whole
How to avoid Air Pollution
Yes we can avoid Pollution as follows
Use natural Gases, like LPG autos
                           Do not Burst Crackers
Use less Amount of Fuel for Vehicles
Avoid using and use electric stove (bio gas)
WATER GOD”s VALUABLE GIFT
What is Water POLLUTION
The contamination of water
                  with undesirable substances
which make it un fit for usages
                  is called Water Pollution
Causes of Water Pollution
• About 40% of Death worldwide are caused by
  WATER POLUTION
• Water Pollution is Caused by organic and
  inorganic industrial Wastes and affluent
  discharge into river
Water Pollution images
Effects of Water Pollution
• Diseases like cholera
• Malaria
• Dingo
• Aquatic life gets Destroyed
How to avoid Water pollution
• Rivers should not be use for washing clothes
  or bathing animals in.
• Dams and embankments must be created.
• The river must not be contaminated.
• The Sacred rivers like Ganga the dead bodies
  should not be thrown
Noiseless Atmosphere
• Noise can be simply defined as
  Unwanted sound.
• The sound is pleasant or not depends
  upon the loudness, duration, rhythm
and the mood of the person.
• Noise Pollution can not only results in
  irrational and anger
Causes of Noise Pollution
• Traffic noise
• Air Craft noise
• Noise from construction and civil engineering
  works.
• Noise from the industries.
• Noise from other sources.
See what Is this????
• Picture Showing: NOISE POLLUTION
Effects of Noise Pollution
• Hearing loss
• High blood Pressure
• Stress
• Sleep Disturbance
• Color Blindness
How to avoid Noise Pollution
• The Government should ensure the new
machines that sound be noise proof.

• Air ports must be away from residential areas

• The sound horns symbol is to be in school
  Roads.
Definition of LAND POLLUTION
One fourth of area is covered by land, is called
 Land.

Land is a earth which I occupied by people for
 shelter, occupation, etc.
Causes of LAND POLUTION
• We can classify major sources that led to land
  following categories
o Mining and quarries
o Sewage waste
o Household garbage
o Industrial waste
LAND POLUTION Images
Effects of Land Pollution
The land cannot be constructed house
Man cannot be farming
Ground will gets defected
Household garbage like putting Plastics
Prevention of Land Pollution
• More and more land should be brought under
  farming
• Trees should be planted everywhere
• Waste matter should be disposed immediately
• Avoid drilling the land for more underground
  water
• avoid using more fertilizer and Pesticides
Definition of RADIO ACTIVE
                POLLUTION
DESPITE THE Advantage of nuclear as a clean
energy, the big, concern is the result from nuclear
reaction, which is a form of pollution called Radio
 activity

Radiation (Laser-Rays) Will form RADIO ACTIVE
 POLLUTION
Causes of RADIO ACTIVE POLLUTION
• Nuclear Power plants (ex: Neyveli)
• nuclear weapons (ex:Missiles)
• Disposal of Nuclear Waste
• Uranium Waste
RADIO ACTIVE POLLUTION images
Effects of Radio Active Pollution
• The diseases include blood in cough
• Ulcer
• Swelling of bong joints
• Cancer
• Lung cancer
• Skin Cancer
• Bone cancer
• Eye Problems
Prevention of Radio Active Pollution
• Avoid constructing Nuclear Power Plant
• Avoid using Nuclear Weapons
• Have proper treatment for Nuclear Weapons
• Avoid mining for uranium to a minimal
