2. What is PCLake?
•Started as a model for Phosphorus and Carbon in the foodweb of Lake Loosdrecht (an eutrophic shallow lake) by Jan Janse et al. (RIVM) in the 80’s
•Generalised to PCLake in the 90’s
•Was programmed in ACSL
•N.B.: It does contain nitrogen, too..
3. How did PCLake and up in DELWAQ?
1990’s: Two dutch 1D (water quality) models:
STOWA – DUFLOW Delft Hydraulics - SOBEK
DELWAQ = WQ core of SOBEK
