Developed businesses as an Artist & Printmaker, Graphic Designer and Software Designer & Developer
(Human/Machine Interface). Taught in public, state and private schools; art, design, computer
programing and meditation. Veterans Service Officer for Gilpin County, Volunteer as Peer Support
Specialist VA Medical Center-Denver in Mental Health Clinic, and Volunteer with Fearless Victory
Project (Mindful Meditation training). Completed first year of Master of Divinity Degree at Naropa
University. Peer Support Technician at Veteran Affairs Medical Center with the HUD-VASH program in
recovery for homeless veterans.
Veteran’s Administration Service Connected Compensation awarded in January 2004.
Received service connected disability compensation award in January 2004 from Veteran Affairs. Rated

through 1973. During my first combat WesPac deployment (1971-72), while fulfilling duties as
operations yeoman in Attack Squadron 94, I volunteered as a peer-counselor for drug rehabilitation and
substance abuse team. Responsibilities included facilitating group counseling sessions, also crisis and
suicide intervention/prevention aboard ship while in combat.
