State-owned lender Bank of India (BOI) on Monday said it has sold 18 per cent stake in its insurance Joint Venture (JV) Star Union Dai-ichi
LifeInsuranceCompanyLtd(SUD)toitsJapanesepartner,Dai-ichiLifeInsuranceCompanyLtd(DILIC).SUDwasincorporatedin2007asaJV
among Bank of India, Union Bank of India and DILIC to undertake life insurance business in India. As per the terms of the JV, the Japanese
firm had an option to purchase 18 per cent additional stake in SUD upon change in law permitting overseas investors to hold stake higher
than26percent.
Technical Outlook: On daily chart, stock has been trading in a higher top higher bottom formation since last many days and it seems that
stockcouldfurtheraccelerateitsupsidemovementfromthepresentlevel.Moreover,stockhasbeencontinuouslytradingaboveits21day
moving averagewhich is placed at 117.55 levelwhich shows that near term trend is up. An hourly Stochastic reading is at 22.80 near to its
oversoldzone,whichpointoutforbouncebackintheprices.Sofor tradingperspective,one couldBuyinrangeof115.50-117 for Targetof
121withSLof113.50.

UncertaintygrippedAsianmarketsonTuesdayasinvestorsbracedforapotentiallypivotalUSpresidentialdebatebyshunningstocks
while favoring safe haven bonds and the yen. MSCI's broadest index of Asia-Pacific shares outside Japan eased 0.3 percent in early
trade, while South Korea fell 0.6 percent. Japan's Nikkei dropped 1 percent as a higher yen threatened exporter sales and profits.
The Indian equity market is expected to open flat to positive today tracking Asian indices. SGX Nifty is trading at 8746.50 up by 10
points.
Wall Street fell on Monday as Deutsche Bank weighed on financials and investors hunkered down for the first debate between US
presidential candidates Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump. Big banks led the declines as investors worried that Deutsche Bank might
needto addadditional capitalto pay for aUSD 14 billionUSdemandtosettle claims itmissoldmortgage-backedsecurities. The race
for the White House has so far had little discernible effect on the sentiment but that may change if Monday's encounter leaves a
decisive winner. With just over six weeks until the November 8 vote, some investors see the neck-and-neck contest sparking
volatility in sectors including health insurers, drugmakers and industrials. The Dow Jones industrial average dropped 0.91 percent to
endat18,094.83pointsandtheS&P500lost0.86percentto2,146.1.TheNasdaqCompositelost0.91percenttofinishat5,257.49.
