Description : BTW portal is the main gateway to it customers to go through its products and order products.
This
was running in an old platform with less efficiency. The main aim was to migrate the existing portal to new platform
which provides much performance. The portal was 100% dynamic which caused performance issues. 90% of the
pages are coming from content management system. BTW content was managed in Interwoven Teamsite 6.5
content management system(CMS). As a part of re-platform the contents/users/ functionalities had to be
migrated to Teamsite 6.7.1. At the same time the pages coming from CMS had to be made to static as much as
possible. For the content generation/deletion and deployment to portal, new workflows had to be developed. The
client also required a performance and usability improvement in new CMS than existing.

Project# 8 : Implementing User Provisioning system for Methodist Hospital
Client : Methodist, USA
Description : Development of CONTROL-SA USA-API for Clinical Information System (CIS) and Hospital
Information System (HIS) with WorkFlow implementation. Methodist hospital maintains user information (Secure
data) in various Platforms using number of applications. The objective of this project is to customize all
applications
across the locations with BMC CONTROL- SA.
The CIS application at Methodist hospital runs on an AIX UNIX platform. This application is completely
self-contained but it does provide a mechanism for external data management. Pushing data to the application
can be achieved from one of two command line utilities supplied with the product. The data contained with in
the application is maintained in a propriety database.
The HIS application at Methodist hospital runs on a Mainframe. There is no direct method to access user
information from mainframe. But we can access HIS data from windows box using HIS interface. HIS interface
supports some standard string format separated by semicolon format (request) based on that Pushing data to the
application can be achieved. The USA-API establishes the connection between CONTROL- SA/Agent and HIS
interface using TCP/IP socket.
The base requirements of Methodist hospital for the custom USA-API (Interface) are as follows. API requires the
ability for account creation, account revocation account reactivation and account deletion. This also requires the
ability to change passwords to permit password synchronization. It does also require group related activities and
providing extra privileges to the users.
Also they are maintaining user information in an Oracle in a secure way. To integrate this with BMC CONTROL-
SA we developed USA-API. CONTROL-SA/WorkFlow is a security product from BMC and it is a web based
application. It is the one of the tool which will interact with API which we developed. It automates the user
Provisioning system. That means user can submit can approve and reject request through web.
Technology : C, C++, JAVA, Networking, Shell Script, TCL/TK, CONTROL-SA, BMC CONTROL-SA/AIT,CONTROL-
SA/XMODULE, BMC CONTROL-SA/WorkFlow/PassPort, Oracle Builder, TCL/TK, Oracle 8i, AIX 4.3,
Windows NT
Team size and Project Duration: 6/ 3 Months
Role : Development and maintenance of software, also preparing Admin guide and User guide.
Project# 7: Integrating CONTROL-SA/Agent for eTrust SSO 6.5 to eTrust
SSO 7.0
Client : BMC Software, USA
Description : The current version of the CONTROL-SA/Agent support eTrust SSO 6.5. The eTrust SSO 6.5 is a
security product from CA, CA upgraded the Software with little more functionality (SSO 7.0). So we
have to Upgrade CONTROL-SA/Agent also. For that we modified USA-API, Make and installation script file. Finally
tested the new version of USA-API for eTrust SSO 7.0 on platform like Solaris, AIX.
Technology : C, Shell script, CONTROL-SA, eTrust SSO, AIX, Solaris
Team size and Project Duration: 2/ 1 Month
Role : Development and maintenance of software, also preparing Admin guide

Description : Merrill Lynch is one of the world leading investment and trading organization. The Client has centers
in locations across the globe, and the overnight reports are used by traders/business users to analyze risk for their
deals. In this module we are responsible for maintaining and integrating FinRisk’s applications. It includes DPRM
Engine, ODR, Genesis adapter, EOD Risk reports, Feeds like Finman, glacier, FAR, Global risk and RiskMIS and ODR
client. I have been in client place (UK), during that period I involved on USRATES business development/migration.

Project# 4 : Linux based GUI for Atmospheric Global Circulation Model (AGCM)
Client : Centre for Mathematical Modeling and Computer Simulation – NAL
Description: It‘s a Simulator to analyze the Cyclone, Monsoon, Weather. That means Atmospheric Global
Circulation Model (AGCM) is a running model. It consists of various features like Cyclone tracking Monsoon
tracking. The running version does not have a Graphical Interface to input the values. All the values of parameters
need to be entered manually at the specified files. It’s more confusing one tedious job.
The design of GUI makes it easier to enter the values and transferring it to the specified location of the respective
files. This is the main objective of the project is reduce the time, risk in typing error and increase the effectiveness
AGCM model. Finally, It automatically create the shell script depends upon the input.

Global Integrated Fulfillment (GIF) is the next generation fulfillment application platform which incrementally replaces the legacy fulfillment applications like Click-n-Pull (CNP) and Fax-n-Pull (FNP) and Pick Up Today (PUT) over the time. We have designed and developed by following loosely coupled Architecture. It has addressed the application performance issue and it reduced application enhancement cost and time.

This was running in an old platform with less efficiency. The main aim was to migrate the existing portal to new platform which provides much performance. The portal was 100% dynamic which caused performance issues. 90% of the pages are coming from content management system. BTW content was managed in Interwoven Teamsite 6.5 content management system(CMS). As a part of re-platform the contents/users/ functionalities had to be migrated to Teamsite 6.7.1. At the same time the pages coming from CMS had to be made to static as much as possible. For the content generation/deletion and deployment to portal, new workflows had to be developed. Project# 8 : Implementing User Provisioning system for Methodist Hospital Client : Methodist, USA Description : Development of CONTROL-SA USA-API for Clinical Information System (CIS) and Hospital Information System (HIS) with WorkFlow implementation. Methodist hospital maintains user information (Secure data) in various Platforms using number of applications. The objective of this project is to customize all applications across the locations with BMC CONTROL- SA. The CIS application at Methodist hospital runs on an AIX UNIX platform. This application is completely self-contained but it does provide a mechanism for external data management. Pushing data to the application can be achieved from one of two command line utilities supplied with the product. The data contained with in the application is maintained in a propriety database.
  • 4. The HIS application at Methodist hospital runs on a Mainframe. There is no direct method to access user information from mainframe. But we can access HIS data from windows box using HIS interface. HIS interface supports some standard string format separated by semicolon format (request) based on that Pushing data to the application can be achieved. The USA-API establishes the connection between CONTROL- SA/Agent and HIS interface using TCP/IP socket. The base requirements of Methodist hospital for the custom USA-API (Interface) are as follows. API requires the ability for account creation, account revocation account reactivation and account deletion. This also requires the ability to change passwords to permit password synchronization. It does also require group related activities and providing extra privileges to the users. Also they are maintaining user information in an Oracle in a secure way. To integrate this with BMC CONTROL- SA we developed USA-API. CONTROL-SA/WorkFlow is a security product from BMC and it is a web based application. It is the one of the tool which will interact with API which we developed. It automates the user Provisioning system. That means user can submit can approve and reject request through web. That means Atmospheric Global Circulation Model (AGCM) is a running model. It consists of various features like Cyclone tracking Monsoon tracking. The running version does not have a Graphical Interface to input the values. All the values of parameters need to be entered manually at the specified files. It’s more confusing one tedious job. The design of GUI makes it easier to enter the values and transferring it to the specified location of the respective files. This is the main objective of the project is reduce the time, risk in typing error and increase the effectiveness AGCM model. Finally, It automatically create the shell script depends upon the input.
