2. The three leaders & teachers in Bhagavad Gita are
Dhritarashtra, Duryodhana & Arjuna.
Dhritarashtra is an ignorant & blind leader i.e.
Tamasik leader.
Duryodhana is an egoistic & oppressive leader i.e.
Rajasik leader.
Arjuna is a gentle & dedicated leader i.e. Satvik
leader.
3. Dhritarashtra was blind & requested Vyaasa to
grant Sanjay telescopic vision so that he could
narrate the proceedings of the war.
Sanjay explained the grief of Arjuna & his refusal
to fight with his own brothers & his dialogue
with Krishna.
When ignorant person approaches guru, he loses
nothing but gains information, knowledge, ideas
& insights.
In the case of Dhritarashtra, he also, like Arjuna,
received the supreme knowledge.
4. No harm has occurred to Dhritarashtra. He
personally gained much though he lost his
wicked sons. He gained the respect of Pandavas.
Lesson: So even when one is ignorant, when one
approaches the Guru & listens to him, he will
gain much in life.
5. When the war horns & bugles were blown,
Duryodhan, the Rajasik leader, got worried.
With this selfish bias, Duryodhan went to his own
teacher & guru, Guru Dronacharya.
Duryodhan should have approached first
Bheeshmacharya. Instead he approached
Dronacharya. This he did because Pandava’s were
disciples of Guru Dhronacharya and he knew
strengths and weakness and ways to overcome
them.
6. Because of his Rajasik & proud nature, he was
aggressive instead he should have greeted him,
bowed down to him, respected him & then
consulted him with being humble.
Lesson: When an egoistic, proud & selfish leader
approaches the Guru & does not respect - the
teacher does not answer & observes silence as
response.
7. When bugles were blown, Arjun, the Satvik leader,
too got worried & concerned. He saw massive
destruction & loss for every one. He came into
conflict with his duty as a warrior & his
responsibility as a human being & he decided to
resign & withdraw.
He got confused & he too approached his own
Guru, the great Master Krishna. He approached
him with respect & surrendered to him.
8. When a selfless, gentle, capable & responsible
leader like Arjun approaches a teacher, he will do
what Krishna did. Krishna not only lifted Arjun from
his despondency, but offered him supreme
knowledge of self & prepared him for super
heights. He helped him to become overall winner
the “Dhananjaya” - winner of wealth.
Lesson: When a selfless, gentle & able leader
approaches the Guru & surrenders to him, the
teacher will offer him supreme knowledge & path
to gain Prosperity, Success, Growth & Right Policy.

10. A Master Management Guru has to be stable,
confident & calm even though his learner,
manager or leader is in tension, confusion &
depression.
