The document discusses various examples of how external influences can affect behavior. It describes several celebrities and individuals who were bullied or harassed and how that experience influenced their lives. It then examines how emotions, faith, language, human science, art, and ethics can shape the extent to which powerful external forces impact behavior. While external pressures sometimes strongly influence actions, individuals have also resisted influence and pursued their own path. The knowledge question considers to what degree external influences can affect behavior.
