- Good afternoon ! I ’ m Ludovic Simon, founder and C EO at DoYouBuzz. And I ’ m going to talk about online CV which is the main purpose of my company. As you know, a new major shift in the recruitment industry is beginning now. And it concerns online CV. LinkedIn and social media are changing the way we share and access to talents and CV, that ’ s a fact. Gradually, CV are moving from Word files and pdf to web formats. The “ Apply with LinkedIn ” button is just a first step. The battle to be a CV hub and bring a new Universal CV format begins now !
- I founded DoYouBuzz 4 years ago for 2 reasons : I wanted replace the Word based resumes format and streamline the employment market. So, what is DoYouBuzz.com ? It’s a website which allows general public to build an effective and beautiful CV, which is visible on the web and easy to share. We have a clear value proposition and a good positioning on the market. We became the leader of web CV in France, we are growing fast and our users are very active. We also provide saas solutions to universities (15 clients), recruiting groups such as Adecco and businesses. We help them to receive and manage CV on the cloud.
- Here is some exemples of CV you can find on doyoubuzz. The design is simple : A short homepage for a fast screening and many links to know more. As you see, each user can build something very personal on doyoubuzz and that’s why we have a high engagement from them. Even LinkedIn users want a CV which is personal and customized. And DoYouBuzz is the best alternative to Word.
- There are many advantages with web formats. But the best of them is about real-time updates. Thanks to web CV, UGC and APIs, the play for companies is now to keep CV pools up-to-date with no efforts. And The time you will save with a better sourcing productivity could be spend to build a better relationship with best talents and applicants.
- We lead a large experimention of web CV with Adecco for the last 8 months. And we have very good results ! We provide 2 services : - an API to allow DoYouBuzz and web CV formats on Adecco’s website and keep them up-to-date - a service to automatize CV formatting with Adecco’s rules and brand before sending CV to clients The transition to web CV is beginning in the major of recruitment industry.
- DoYouBuzz is a platform and we work to become one of the main « web CV format » and offer an alternative to LinkedIn Now, we are connecting our universal CV format to main french recruiters and jobboards.
