2. Separation process Metal Bins are brought to the baler with cardboard in them. A pallet is placed in a safe area and all good used boxes are stacked onto pallet. Remaining scrap cardboard is baled.
3. Separation Process Con’t After boxes are stacked 55 inches high. The unit is secured with a plastic strap.
4. Baled LDPE Shrink wrap can be either separated or co-mingled with the remaining scrap OCC. The separation of material will bring a higher value.
5. Proper loading Baled scrap and loose boxes will be loaded onto the same trailer. All material must be double stacked.
6. Proper cubing of truck Since most of the material at the plant falls into the good used box category. It is important to stress maximizing the height of each trailer
7. Bales should be on the bottom Baled material should always be loaded on the bottom of a loose unit of boxes.
